2003 Yamaha AR210

This is our boat.  It's a 2003 Yamaha 2-stroke AR210, which is the wakeboard version
of the LX210.  The boat puts out 270 hp (135 hp per engine) and is jet-driven.  Each
engine has it's own throttle control so this boat is basically a 7-seater jet ski.  You can do
360's, 180's, submarine moves, and all kinds of other stuff.  It really is more of a sport boat
than a wakeboard boat but does a great job pulling people.  I'll add pictures of my brother
wakeboarding soon and hopefully get a picture of the boat in the water.  The AR210 will
max out around 56 mph but it gets there very, very quickly.

I haven't done much to the boat since it is so expensive to just own and pay insurance
on, plus the cost of fuel.  It holds 50 gallons of gas and is not very efficient.  The upgrades
I have done are:

Dual blue top Optima batteries
330 watts of extra lights (four facing forward, two back)
Dual wakeboard racks (can hold two per side)
Digital wireless depth finder mounted in dash

That's really all I have done.  The boat comes with an awesome stereo, which includes
6 speakers, a JVC CD player and AM/FM radio, plus a remote mounted to the side of the
boat so I can adjust the stereo without ever having to move.  I've had just about every
part of the dash replaced due to corroded wires, but the engines have never given me
trouble.  They are two strokes so you have to watch the plugs but other than that, they
are very maintenance-free.  I prefer the 2 stroke AR210 over the 4 stroke AR230.  While
the AR230 is a little more fuel efficient, it is a larger boat and therefore much slower.  It
only seats two more people than my boat and is about $10,000 more.  That is just not
worth it to me.  Yeah, my boat does smoke a little at first, but that keeps the bugs away.

Stay tuned for pictures of Clint wakeboarding and also random lake pictures including
Bam with his life jacket on.  If you have any questions, just email me or visit this forum:

Here is a picture of the dash, you can see the wireless depth finder I installed on the right side.

Here are some pictures from the lake.  We are on Bull Shoals Lake every weekend.

These first two are Bam and his life jacket.  Me and him were swimming together.

Here are a couple recent ones of Clint, the wakeboard pro.  If anybody
has a contact in the pro wakeboard world, hook this kid up, he is awesome.

Me and Macey... I thought both of these pictures were almost enchanting.

Some more pictures of Clint from an overcast early morning:
