This is Bam, aka "Bammers,"
our Jack Russell Terrier. Bam was the first dog
out our collection of three. He was a Christmas 2002 gift from Grandma
Jill
and Grandpa Jim. We got him when he was six months old and he has been
the highlight of most evenings ever since. He is the only dog out of all
three
that listens to me more than 50% of the time. Jack Russells are normally
very
hyper (we had one before and he was insane), but Bam is very well mannered
for his breed. He is Macey's best friend and taught her most of the bad
tricks
she knows. Bam is a solid 15 pounds of muscle and is done growing now that
he is over a year old, but he has several years of "puppy" left in
him. I have been
trying to utilize his energy and teach him to catch frisbees; so far he just
chases
them and lets them hit the ground, then picks them up and struts around with
them.

the Snoofy Boofer (yeah I call him that,
or variations of that i.e. "snoof," "snoofy boofy," "woofies,"
etc, because of the
way he "snoofs" at people instead of barks. It's hilarious).

Here are some pictures of Bam from the
lake this summer. He is the best boat watch dog
ever. He even stands at the front of the boat and watches for rocks and
things as I pull into
beaches. He has a life jacket now so he can safely swim as much as he
wants to.

on Ebay. He helped me make almost $1000!
Unfortunately for me, he made me spend it all on dog bones and chew toys.
